    This is a very beautiful rolling pin. It is nice and heavy, and if you like to make pastries, you know how helpful that can be. I can tell it is going to last years and years. It smells really good, too. (I am a wood-worker without a lathe.) My only warning is if you get it as a gift, be careful because it comes in a large envelope and you can easily tell what it is without opening it, lol
